Jacinta Yellico
- Received her Bachelors in Liberal Arts from Thomas More College of Liberal Arts (Merrimack, NH).
- Studied abroad in Rome, Italy during her undergraduate education.
- A lifelong native of Rutherford County.
- An active participant in the Rutherford County Arts Council productions since age 5.
In her role as office manager, Jacinta prides herself on being an integral part of the holistic approach to patient care at Rutherford Family Acupuncture. Aside from being the first face you’ll see at the office, she compounds herbal formulas in our full-service herbal pharmacy, makes traditional herbal preparations—the same way they’ve been done for thousands of years—and is an avid patient of acupuncture & Chinese medicine herself. Jacinta believes that your treatment experience begins from the moment you walk in the door, and goes above and beyond to make sure that every patient is cared for as an individual.
Her favorite part of Chinese medicine is how good she feels after a treatment! Being a results-oriented person, she likes that the results of treatment are noticeable and immediate. She also likes the way that treatment can introduce you to a part of yourself that you didn’t have access to before, like being able to relax and de-stress more deeply than you thought was possible.
Jacinta loves how Chinese medicine views people as an interconnected whole, and how deeply it understands the connection between our mental, emotional, and spiritual struggles and our physical ailments, even in cases that seem like they’re just physical. Since working at the clinic, she has loved seeing first-hand the way that Chinese medicine helps patients feel integrated and deeply understood, and the deep healing that Chinese medicine offers to the many patients with many different ailments that walk through the door.
